Tina Burgess

Meet Our Staff, including Founder Tina Burgess

Tina Burgess founded locally owned Vanity Fur Pet Grooming in 2004 with a commitment to provide exceptional quality services for pets and humans alike. 

Focusing on continuing education through NDGAA, she has completed her National Certified Master Groomer status and has won many awards in competitive grooming contests. She enjoys serving her clients and instructing fellow groomers, allowing the pets' best qualities of beauty, health, and nutrition to shine through.
Janet Mikol

Janet Mikol

Janet Mikol has been the smiling face and happy voice of Vanity Fur Pet Grooming since 2010. As an owner of four rescued animals herself, she loves doing rescue and volunteer work with the Marion County Humane Society and the All Creatures Sanctuary. 

Janet helps organize an annual golf tournament that benefits the All Creatures Sanctuary. Come meet Janet at the shop or give us a call to chat with her!
Rebecca Wood

Rebecca Wood

Since starting at Vanity Fur Pet Grooming in 2012, Rebecca has accomplished the very significant goals that she has set for herself. She attends workshops, seminars, and competitions to help further her education and stay abreast of new products and grooming trends from top leaders in the industry. 

Earning the Sporting, Non-Sporting, and Terrier certifications and a first place with a Bichon in 2015, she is more than halfway to finishing her goal of becoming a National Certified Dog Groomer by the NDGAA. 
Shandy Hoogerhyde

Shandy Hoogerhyde

Shandy Hoogerhyde embarked on her grooming career in 2013. She has since collected a large body of followers who have found their home at Vanity Fur Pet Grooming. 

Aside from grooming, she takes care of a farm full of animals and volunteers in the Marion County Sheriff's Mounted Unit. With the dedication she is putting forward in her art, it won't be long before she enters the AKC show ring, specializing in the non-sporting breeds Miniature Poodles and Bichons.
Chassidy Miller

Chassidy Miller

Chassidy grew up on a farm, spending as much time outdoors with the animals as possible. Her love and passion for animals led her to pursue a career in grooming.
She started at Vanity Fur Pet Grooming as a groomer apprentice in 2014. Motivated by creating a great experience for both pets and their parents, she has established a fantastic start as both a dog and cat groomer.
Phyllis Temple

Phyllis Temple

The familiar face of the Splash and Dash for Dogs program, Phyllis provides love and tender care to those entrusted to her care. 

A retired grooming salon owner with 35 years of experience, she is a great source of knowledge about all kinds of animals and the pet care industry as well.
